Some things bloom even after thousands of years in the ice.
"Heart in Bloom" is a hand-etched scrimshaw pendant carved from genuine Woolly Mammoth fossil ivory, sourced from The Boneyard Alaska in Fairbanks by the Reeves family. The design follows a single flower rising from a bold heart at the base — petals in pink, blue, and purple surrounding a warm yellow center, with red ink tracing the heart itself. Every color was hand-filled into lines I etched directly into the ivory surface, where the natural grain and mineralization become part of the artwork.
This isn't a print or a cast. Every line was drawn by hand into a surface dating 12,000–40,000 years old. Sterling silver components. Fossil ivory from an extinct Ice Age animal — no modern animals harmed.
One of one.

Enjoy it! Keep dry as ivory doesn't like being wet. Use a clean dry polishing cloth to buff. Treat ivory jewelry like a fine gem or fossil. No soaps or detergents. If you have any other care questions let me know. Thank you, Kristin
