Woolly Mammoth Fossil Ivory Gem Stone Cabochons made with "Boneyard Alaska" USA materials exclusively. The broken pieces of mammoth tusks are fractures from the host tusk and are the outer layer of the tusk called bark.

There are all different colors because of the mineralization that occurs to the bark and deeper layers porous ivory which has been frozen in permafrost and organic sediment for 10's of thousands of years.
