I handcraft these guitar picks from woolly mammoth fossil ivory sourced by The Boneyard Alaska in Fairbanks, Alaska. Working with small sections of ancient tusk, I shape each piece with care, letting the ivory’s natural character guide the finished pick.

The fossil ivory comes from extinct woolly mammoths, with the material dating 12,000–40,000 years old. No modern animals are harmed. Its colors range from light to dark, with natural variations shaped by minerals in the ground over thousands of years. Those differences make every pick one of a kind.

I hand-select a pick for each order. The color and markings of yours will be unique, a small piece of the Ice Age given a new purpose in the music you play.
