One Knife. Forty Thousand Years in the Making.
A blade should carry a story — and this one carries tens of thousands of years of it. The grip is genuine Woolly Mammoth fossil ivory sourced at The Boneyard Alaska from ancient Fairbanks permafrost, and I've worked it to highlight every bit of natural tusk bark character and mineral color it holds. The blade is San Mai Damascus steel — a Japanese forging tradition that sandwiches a hard high-carbon core between outer layers of patterned Damascus for an edge that is both razor-sharp and visually stunning.
This piece is exceptional in color and character. The natural bark and deep time mineralization in vivianite blues, greens, tans, creams, and warm browns is the only one of its kind in the world. The result is a knife that feels like it belongs in your private collection and in your hand at the same time.

Enjoy it! Keep dry as ivory doesn't like being wet. Use a clean dry polishing cloth to buff. Treat ivory jewelry like a fine gem or fossil. No soaps or detergents. If you have any other care questions let me know. Thank you, Kristin
