I hand-carved this Woolly Mammoth fossil ivory Christian cross pendant to highlight its warm, creamy color and natural tusk growth lines. Sanded smooth, intricately hand carved and finished with a handmade bail, it carries the character of ancient ivory in a simple, one-of-a-kind design. Beautiful Schreger patterns.

I work with ethically sourced fossil ivory from The Boneyard Alaska, dating 12,000–40,000 years old. This material comes from extinct Ice Age animals; no modern animals are harmed.

The pendant measures approximately 1¾ inches long. Its natural grain and markings make this cross uniquely its own.
