Dark gray-green streaks run through the warm tan tones of this Woolly Mammoth fossil ivory crescent. I paired the curved moon with a round leopard-skin jasper bead, letting the stone’s mottled pattern complement the markings in the ivory. The polished surface catches the light along the moon’s sweeping edge.
At approximately 2¼ inches in size, this pendant brings the ivory’s natural pattern into focus. I kept the crescent as the centerpiece, with the jasper and small pale beads arranged above it. This is a one-of-one piece, crafted by Kristin R Park at Ice Age Treasures.
For this pendant, I used fossil ivory sourced from The Boneyard Alaska. The material comes from extinct Woolly Mammoths, dating 12,000–40,000 years old; no modern animals are harmed.

Enjoy it! Keep dry as ivory doesn't like being wet. Use a clean dry polishing cloth to buff. Treat ivory jewelry like a fine gem or fossil. No soaps or detergents. If you have any other care questions let me know. Thank you, Kristin
