Woolly Mammoth Ivory from the Boneyard Alaska hand-scrimshawed into the Mammoth Ivory Tusk Bark saving the beautiful natural characteristics of the outer bark layer. Keeper of the Grove features a lone tree protecting a hidden nest and small buds blooming on the branches-an ancient forest spirit captured in fossil ivory representing new beginnings, history, strength and longevity. Gorgeous blues, greens and browns mineralization from the permafrost masterfully maintained and highlighted. Gold over .925 bale.
Over thousands of years the bark of the tusk absorbs the surrounding detritus. Detritus is the matter composed of leaves and other plant parts, animal remains, waste products, and other organic debris that falls onto the soil or into bodies of water from surrounding muck and vegetative decay. This offers unique mineralized color from the Permafrost it has been in for 10's of thousands of years. Be one of the first humans to hold this piece of Mammoth Ivory and enjoy it for generations.
I hand carved and India inked this pendant I named "Keeper of the Grove". Created exclusively with Woolly Mammoth Fossil Ivory ethically sourced at the Boneyard Alaska with broken irreparable tusk pieces of mammoth tusk ivory. You will be one of the first few humans to have ever held this Ice Age ivory fossil pendant and a piece of jewelry you can enjoy for generations.
