Forty thousand years in the permafrost left its mark — and that's exactly the point.
This hand-carved scrimshaw feather pendant is crafted from Woolly Mammoth tusk ivory sourced from Boneyard Alaska's Goldstream Valley fossil sites. Permafrost minerals and Vivianite have naturally stained the ivory in blues, greens, and earthy tones — no dye, just Ice Age geology. Paired with vintage 1950s Aurora Borealis crystal beads, it bridges ancient and mid-century in one wearable piece.
Materials: Woolly Mammoth tusk ivory · Vintage 1950s Aurora Borealis crystals · Sterling Silver
Source: Boneyard Alaska · Goldstream Valley, Alaska

Enjoy it! Keep dry as ivory doesn't like being wet. Use a clean dry polishing cloth to buff. Treat ivory jewelry like a fine gem or fossil. No soaps or detergents. If you have any other care questions let me know. Thank you, Kristin
