Carved Fossil Ivory Christian Cross Pendant – Sculpted Form | Ice Age Treasures

I carved this cross from genuine Woolly Mammoth fossil ivory recovered at the Boneyard Alaska — a material that carries thousands of years of Ice Age history within its grain. The ivory is a classic, buttery, warm, creamy tusk core tone, smooth and luminous, with the natural character that only ancient fossil material can offer.

It measures 1-3/4" long and is finished with a Sterling Silver bail, ready to wear on a cord or chain. Because this is a one-of-a-kind piece hand carved and polished from a unique section of found fossil ivory, no two are exactly alike — the design, color, grain, and texture are entirely its own.

The fossil ivory is sourced by my family at The Boneyard Alaska in Fairbanks, from ancient permafrost deposits. No modern animals are harmed — this is ethically sourced material from Ice Age megafauna that lived tens of thousands of years ago.
