Carved Fossil Ivory Christian Cross Pendant – Faceted Form | Ice Age Treasures

I carved this cross by hand from genuine Woolly Mammoth fossil ivory — a material that carries thousands of years of Ice Age history within its grain. The ivory is a warm, creamy core tone, smooth and luminous, with the natural character that only ancient fossil material can offer.

Measures 1-3/4" long and is finished with a Sterling Silver bail, ready to wear. Because this is a one-of-a-kind piece carved from a unique section of fossil ivory, no two are exactly alike — the color, grain, and texture are entirely its own.

The fossil ivory is exclusively sourced from The Boneyard Alaska, Fairbanks Gold Co, owner John Reeves. Discovered and recovered from ancient permafrost deposits. No modern animals are harmed — this is ethically sourced material from Ice Age megafauna that lived tens of thousands of years ago.
