Christian Cross pendant made with Woolly Mammoth ivory discovered at The Boneyard Alaska. Unique Ice Age treasure. I made this out of a small broken and irreparable tusk piece recovered at "The Boneyard Alaska".  I lightly hand scribed the design and finished it with black India ink. Sterling Silver hardware. Made in the USA

Enhance your jewelry collection with rare Mammoth Ivory preserved in the permafrost at The Boneyard Alaska since the last Ice Age. This extraordinary material has likely been handled by very few people, making it a truly unique possession. An exceptional gift choice for discerning collectors.

The Boneyard Alaska, located in Fairbanks, is a renowned paleontological site where hundreds of thousands of Ice Age fossils have been uncovered. It is especially noted for its vast collection of woolly mammoth tusks, bones, and other megafauna remains. The site is owned by John and Ramona Reeves, proprietors of Fairbanks Gold Company, and serves as a significant source of authentic Ice Age treasures.

Care Instructions

Enjoy it! Keep dry as ivory doesn't like being wet. Use a clean dry polishing cloth to buff. Treat ivory jewelry like a fine gem or fossil. No soaps or detergents. If you have any other care questions let me know. Thank you, Kristin
