Christian Cross pendant made with Woolly Mammoth ivory discovered at The Boneyard Alaska. Unique Ice Age treasure. treasure. I made this out of a small broken and irreparable tusk piece recovered at "The Boneyard Alaska". I lightly carved and hand scribed the design and finished it with subtle natural India inks.

Located in Fairbanks Alaska, the site is famous for its extensive collection of woolly mammoth tusks, bones, and other Megafauna animal remains and is owned by my brother John and his wife Ramona Reeves; owners of Fairbanks Gold Company, Fairbanks, Alaska.

Wooly Mammoth Ivory is porous and will naturally absorb your body oils which is a benefit as it is nourishing and enriches colors in ivory and creates a special unity. Handling and rubbing your ivory is also calming and meditative and inspiring. Avoid water and soaps and handle with care.
