Christian Cross pendant carved from a small broken piece of authentic Woolly Mammoth ivory recovered from the Boneyard Alaska near Fairbanks. The material has remained frozen in permafrost for thousands of years, preserved since the Ice Age. You are most likely the first of a few humans to have ever touched it.
I kept as much of the natural bark and patina as possible and carved it lightly to honor the ivory's original character. The result is a piece that carries the marks of deep time—mineralization, texture, and color that formed over millennia with an added human touch.
You'll be among the few people to own and wear such an ancient artifact. A meaningful piece for collectors or as a gift that connects faith with Ice Age history.

Enjoy it! Keep dry as ivory doesn't like being wet. Use a clean dry polishing cloth to buff. Treat ivory jewelry like a fine gem or fossil. No soaps or detergents. If you have any other care questions let me know. Thank you, Kristin
